Role: SQL Server Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Length: 3 to 6 Months contract

*Description:*
This person will report to IT (in the sense they have to keep our rules and
procedures in place…their day to day reporting will be handled in Media) and
get IT directives from our DB Supervisor (best practices, schema rules,
optimizations, etc) but will solely be working in Media to create reports
for clients (day to day duties from Media about that they need, when they
need it, how they need it to look).
The person will mostly be creating SSRS reports for Media for optimizations
along with potentially creating a suite of graphical reports for clients to
quickly see how their media is performing. They’ll need to be able to create
stored procs and ad hoc queries and have a good feel for correct database
architecture. The person will also need to be familiar with SSIS 2008 (sql
server integration services) b/c they’ll probably create packages to
download files from multiple locations and formats and store them in SQL
Server. Some experience with OLAP would probably be helpful too.**
*We need someone who has:*
-Around 4 years SQL Server Reporting Services experience (2005 or 2008). At
least 3 of those years in the 2008.
-This person needs have had experience in developing/designing reports for
client use and internal use.
-Around 5 years writing, troubleshooting stored procedures and ad hoc
queries in SQL Server.
-1 to 2 Years of Experience Developing Reports for Traditional or Digital
marketing clients preferred
-1 to 2 Years of Experience of optimizing database architecture for
scalability
-At least a 4 year degree and have worked in the IT field for over 5 years.
Must have good communication skills with Non-IT personnel
Must be able to document, present, and explain work on a routine basis for
training and basic information purposes
