*JAVA DEVELOPER REQUIRED URGENTLY* * * * LOCATION: EDEN PRAIRIE* * * * LENGTH: DIRECT HIRE!* * * * * * POSITION SUMMARY:* Responsible for developing new and maintaining existing programming code, customization programs, scripts, reports and any other application development environments, tools, or data. Fulfills Application Architect role and shares Application Security Analyst role with expert consultants. Primary responsibility will be to re-write and maintain our engineering sizing and selection tool into a web based application running on JBOSS Web Application Server. Future activities will include developing smaller engineering apps for both the web and for mobile devices. * ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Reviews, analyzes, designs, programs, modifies, develops and implements software-programming applications and software products. * Writes code and complete programming and testing of systems and applications. * Performs full lifecycle software development including analysis, design, testing and deployment utilizing best practices providing appropriate consistent documentation, to ensure continuity and communication of product output. * Converts project specifications and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language. * May train, lead and direct the work of others by providing technical expertise associated with projects. * Works with customers and marketing to develop new or custom features to software products/services. * Supports continual compliance with ISO 9001 standards and procedures. * Ensures that company and department policies, programs and procedures are properly followed. * Keeps the MIS Manager informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management.
