Location: Annapolis, MD Duration: 3 years Our client, has an immediate need for two JAVA programmers who will develop, enhance, maintain and support many of the mission critical business applications through out JIS. They will also be involved in the on-going frame work projects and development of evolving architectural standards. These two resources will provide support and maintenance project portfolio of applications including: - Event messaging frame work for Legacy Applications - Map/Transform Legacy Data - Image Storage - MACRO Address - Warrant System - Charging Database - These Senior JAVA developers will be responsible for the following duties: - Data and System Security Functions utilizing ORACLE SSO - Configuration Management and Change Control Utilizing CVS - Facilitate disaster recovery , business continuity, and back up and restore capability - Integrate new technology as it becomes available and is pertinent to the projects - Database and application support to correct any and all malfunction within the projects The selected candidate will have the following background: - 10+ years of progressive, professional Information Technology experience in various roles from developer to architect. - Need to have specialized knowledge in Enterprise Software Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, Cloud Computing, Database design, Design Methodologies, Product development life cycle and deployment. - Be a team player and team lead. Managing and coordinating projects. - Ability to Perform liaison functions between clients and project players. - Exceptional skills in modern system architecture and design as well as developing applications using C++, Java, J2EE (JSF, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Taglibs, EJB, JMS), Web Services, JAXB, Struts, XML, Jboss, Weblogic, Oracle 9i, Toplink, spring and Hibernate. Focus strongly both on timely delivery and making systems the best through OO design, UML, Rational Rose, Performance analysis, resolving scalability issues, Test driven development, Agile Methodologies, Automated testing, re-architecture, refactoring and user experience analysis. Any hands on experience with a Judiciary system, executing many of the duties and responsibilities BS in Computer Science or related field. Thanks!
