*Location: Boston, MA* *Duration: 6-12 months* Description We are looking for a report developer to join a small but growing team, tasked with all manner of short-cycle delivery. The developer will work directly with end users in Asset Allocation Division, in a fast-paced environment, anticipating delivery in the following forms: data and solution analysis, documentation, ad hoc and scheduled reporting. A qualified candidate will be analytical, bright, highly motivated and self-starting, able to work effectively on independent assignments; and will be well versed in financial concepts, with a track record supporting and delivering small, but targeted business solutions within financial services. While delivery may mean automating or engineering, it may also come in the form of troubleshooting and support, and reverse engineering requirements. SAI is the registered investment adviser and wholly owned subsidiary of FMR LLC. In addition to investment management, SAI specializes in investment risk management, portfolio analytics, asset/liability modeling, and investment planning tools for individual investors. As the technology team for SAI, AAT builds and supports investment management, research and operations platforms, offering scalable solutions for model and managed account products. Primary RESPONSIBILITIES: • Data analysis for ad hoc as well as standard reporting, perform business analysis and creating reports using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBI EE) • Working with multiple requests simultaneously, developing time estimates and work plans and assisting less experienced team members • Communicating progress to and managing expections of end-users • Become experts in the semantics and location of the business data • Pay close attention to detail • Work with Analysts and Developers to ascertain project specific • Establish/maintain rapport and directly engage with investment managers and operations associates • Be a self directed and highly motivated contributor • Documentation of requirements and technical specifications Qualifications Education • BS in Business, or CS related degree or equivalent experience Experience, Skills and Knowledge • 6+ years SQL experience, preferably Oracle PL-SQL • Formal BI reporting experience required, particularly with Oracle BI platform • Experience with schedulers (Autosys, Control M, Ad Tempus) • Organized with the ability to work under a deadline • Awareness of key financial concepts and terminology used in asset management • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience working directly with end users in the financial services space required -- Amit Kumar P: 609-945-0795 F: 609-537-0070 [email protected] URL: www.esystems-inc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business Objects User Group" group.
