Location:Wilmington, DE Duration:6+ Months The Application ETL Developer is responsible for supporting strategic initiatives to acquire, retain, and develop profitable customer relationships. This involves implementing and maintaining a corporate wide data warehouse and specific data marts for individual departments. The developer will primarily be responsible for extracting data from source systems, transforming the data (i.e. standardizing, cleaning, de duping, etc), and then mapping and loading the data into the corporate data warehouse. The developer will also be responsible for optimizing any processes, programs, and functions to improve data quality, data security, and data consistency. Essential Functions: • Extract data from source systems • Transform data via standardization, cleaning, data repair, matching, and deduping • Manage multiple data sources including internal, external, and 3rd party source system data • Performance tuning of ETL processes • Assist in developing feeds to departmental Data Marts • Ability to be a strategic business partner/consultant for data warehouse development • Ensure the data warehouse is able to provide required information to all departments • Ensure data warehouse is able to provide highly targeted lists of customers based on any data attributes, including demographic attributes, transactional behaviours, and event triggers Experience & Qualifications: • In depth knowledge of the Informatica tool • Working knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling • Extensive SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedure, Packages, and UNIX and Windows scripting skills. • Experience creating and maintaining an extraction, transformation, and loading process (ETL) from source systems into a data warehouse, mart, or both • Working experience with SQL performance tuning • Knowledge OLAP application development • Concept of full life cycle design and application development • At least 3 years of experience in database systems -- Amit Kumar P: 609-945-0795 F: 609-537-0070 [email protected] URL: www.esystems-inc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business Objects User Group" group.
