Location:         **Kettering, OH**
Duration:         Full Time*

*Job Description:*

•Resolve production issue, determine root cause and business impact,
propose long term prevention, and report on those activities.

•Prioritize problem fixes effectively based on business impact, risk,
urgency, and level of effort.

•Escalate to development team and track problems through resolution.

•Understand, mitigate, and minimize business impact due to problems.

•Proactively recommend improvements to the runtime and processes to improve
efficiency.

•Effectively handle a 5 member offshore team.



*Skills and Qualifications:*

•Extensive knowledge in Weblogic 10.3 & 11

•Good knowledge on webserver’s, application servers, clustering environment

•Strong capacity for logical thinking, with the ability to understand the
inter-relationships among complex applications and systems.

•Must be a creative problem/puzzle solver.

•Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills required.

•Good judgment and ability to manage problems outside of one’s area of
expertise

•Willingness to resolve repetitive problems while figuring out systematic
handling and prevention.

•Prior experience working with service delivery / help desk teams or ticket
tracking (ITG) software preferred.

•Naturally bright; ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively,
to prioritize rapidly and accurately, and to understand tradeoffs.

•Some knowledge of scripting and object oriented software development a
plus.
