*Data Warehouse Architect * *6 month contract with extensions* *Denver, Colorado, * The Data Warehouse Architect will be responsible for architecting, designing and providing oversight to the implementation of system data modifications to a project in the Healthcare Industry. In addition to data modeling experience, the data architect will have a key role in translating business requirements to physical database structures and architecting the movement of data throughout the system originating from external and internal sources. *Primary Responsibilities: * oArchitect solution to identify and load data from disparate sources originating from multiple applications across the enterprise o Provide oversight to design and develop the database logical and physical data model for normalized and denormalized data structures o Architect data migration strategy for the system o Architect reusable and proven design patterns to extract, transform and load data o Design schema definitions for OLTP and OLAP databases o Provide oversight to design and develop data warehouse model o Develop standards that govern the strategy to collect metadata o Implement best practices and standards to analyze, profile and store data o Develop and document standards and guidelines to govern the use of data integration tools and processes o Additional experience in sizing, tuning and data analysis is a plus *Required Skills: * o 5+ years' experience as a data architect/modeler for a large scale production data warehouse system or comparable product o Hands on experience with Data Analysis, Data Modeling (Logical and Physical), Database Design, Data Integration, Data Warehousing methodologies, etc. o Possess an end-to-end vision to understand a logical design translates into one or more physical databases and how data flows through successive stages of the overall solution o Hands on experience working with Oracle and SQL Server relational databases in a large scale project environment o Deep knowledge of SQL o Experience with modeling and metadata management tools o Hands on Experience working in Windows operating systems o Possess a strong desire to establish standards and implement best practices o Ability to document reusable standards, guidelines and best practices to be used by the project team o Work with Solution Architect to ensure that solutions complement the system architecture and conforms to the enterprise architecture strategy o Ability to work in an integrated team environment that includes designers, developers, other architects etc. o Good communication and presentation skills *Desired Skills:* o Experience in the Insurance or Healthcare industries, including IT solutions for MMIS, HIX and Healthcare reform initiatives a plus *Education:* o Bachelor's Degree oAdditional industry certifications a plus Thanks & Regards Ankur Singh 415-259-4694 GTalk-ankuracetek9 Yahoo IM- ankur_acetek -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business Objects User Group" group.
