Position: Linux System Admin
Job Location : San Francisco, CA
Duration: 4 month contract- hire
Candidates need to be: local to SF, good communication and have their Green
Card or EAD
MUST HAVES:
7-10 years - IT related experience
Expert with Linux variants - set up, configure, maintenance, log rotation,
tuning
Some virtualization experience - (VMware 4.0 or higher)
Atlassian tool suite ( Jira, fisheye, ect)
Automated system tools (chef or puppet or cfengine)
Scripting in Perl or Shell
PLUS:
Worked in a Large storage environment with EMC
SAN and NAS interconnects and switching
Cisco or F5 load balancing
DAY TO DAY:
Candidate will be a part of the TechOps team providing level 1 support in a
24x7 production infrastructure.
They will be responsible for monitoring, maintain systems, and tool
upgrades.
On call one week in four.
