I agree, but sometimes the "human factor" can be decisive, so I prefer
make this kind of things as smoothly as I can because effectively I
think the most important here is the code. :)

Done. Herbert Xu from dash is aware of the bug (there is no
maintainer for the ash shell of Slackware).
