Yesterday I tried to fetch the events from all of /dev/input/event*. The only relevant events (apart from vanilla key presses and mouse activity) were power button event and sleep button event. No ACDC supply on/off, no RF switch. Pity it is not enough... MB we should listen to both new and old interfaces then? What do you think?
