Hi!Thanks for the information. The Kalanchoe plant  was infested with some moth 
cats. that confused me.Sorry again. I learned a lesson the wrong way.

      the red pierrot caterpillar eats the leaf from within but it comes out to 
reach for the other leaf and if you catch that moment, its out on the leaf. 
also for pupation it has to come out so thats the other time you can view it in

I was under impression that Red Pierrot caterpiller always stays withing the 
leaf. This collection shows it outside the leaf. I have kept my assumed red 
pierrot picture of such cat at
