Thanks to all that replied. Even if I didn't use a given suggestion, I
appreciated all of them. It allowed me to make better decisions.

Antennaweb was a very helpful resource. Even up here in Jersey Village, I'm
only 23-24 miles from the Dewalt antenna site(s) as the crow flies.

I had a 6' Pyle speaker stand ($30) I bought to replace the one that came with
my Alpha Antenna system, so I took that and a $35 outdoor 30 mile range VHF/UHF
antenna that was so light it only takes one U bolt to hold it to the stand.

Put the stand on my 2nd floor balcony and ran coax to the TV.

Ran channel scan and now I can watch football, Saturday afternoon hockey when
it's on NBC, The Big Bang Theory and PBS. I'm a cappy hamper.

If you take the set top box rent ($10/mo) + Local channel service ($10/mon),
this solution will pay for itself in 4 months.

The only thing I have to do is bring the tripod in at night.
