I am sure that each one of us can name at least one ham who was influential
to us, individually, in our pursuit of the hobby. It will most likely not
be the same person for all of us. There is an SK member of BVARC who was
especially helpful to me. Nothing special was done to honor him. Okay, he
was not perfect and had some issues over the years preceding his death.
Same with Frosty. In all fairness, if the club were to single out Frosty
and name the hamfest in his honor, then retroactively and proactively I
think many things need to be done in a similar fashion. Put his name on the
SK roster, let those who were close to him do what they will with regard to
honoring his life, contributions to ham radio, etc., and move on. JMHO

When I go SK

My wife and daughter will be well taken care of

But I should be thinking about putting the assets in some trust lest they go
on a spending spree

They will not be forced to plead with a tin cup either
