In case you didn't see the message from Jim KE8G, the joint Field Day team of BVARC, TDXS and Echo made 5th PLACE OVERALL and 1st PLACE FOR 8A!! THAT IS SUPER! Congratulations and THANK YOU to everyone who participated the this joint three club event! We made our goal of getting in the Top Ten and more! It was indeed a group effort, a great collaboration of setup/take down folks, support staff, organizers and operators. If you look closely at the results, we missed 4th place by only 42 points and 3rd place by only 537 points. If we didn't have to shut down for 45 minutes due to lightning, we probably would have made that 3rd place. This is indeed a great honor and we will be forever in the record books.
Field Day is indeed the premier event for our joint clubs, and I am again looking forward to doing as well or better next year. To all those who participated: and big THANK YOU!
