i am still running wife 1.0 and it has been working great for me since
1977. the two apps, son 1.0 and daughter 1.0 were both uninstalled and
only wife 1.0 running at my house.

WARNING! DO not attempt to uninstall Wife 1.0 yourself! Wife 1.0
runs in SAFE mode, Because of this, the program will always consider
any system fault as being due to the improper use by the operator.
Several utilities have been employed to improve the performance of
Wife 1.0. One of the frequently used utilities is the command
C:\IAMSORRY when a problem arises or the systems hangs.
Avoid use of the "ESC" or "DEL" keys, because then you will have to
use the IAMSORRY command in order to make the system work normally
again. Wife 1.0 is very interesting, but has a high cost of maintenance.
Consider the possibility of installing additional software to improve
the performance of Wife 1.0, such as Candy 2.1 or Flowers 5.0.
Jewelry 3.5 works best but can negatively impact Finances 2.0, if used
excessively.
You can also use Yes Darling 8.0 or You Are Right 14.7. They are well
known shareware programs that work great as residents. You can
download these from www.husband.com <http://www.husbandhelp.com>.
Never Install Secretary In Mini Skirt 3.3, or any version of, Old
Girlfriend.dll. These programs are not compatible with Wife 1.0 and
will eventually cause Wife 1.0 to download Lawyer 9.9 causing
irreversible damage to the Operating System.
