Results of the March 19th
         BVARC Amateur License Examination Session

  B—VARC sponsored and administered the ARRL's Amateur Radio
  License examination session(s) that were held on Saturday,
  March 19, 2016 at South Texas Section Convention — Greater
  Houston Hamfest held at the Ft. Bend County Fairgrounds in
  Rosenberg, TX.

  MEMBERS OF THE ACTIVE VE TEAM:

   Leland L. Bahr, WOVT            John Moore, KK5NU
   Richard Goldy, K5GOL            George Ontko, KM5VP
   Jonathan Guthrie, KA8KPN        Randy Pollard, AKSG
   Larry Jacobson, K5LJ            Randy Pugh, AA5OA
   Edward F. Manuel, Jr., N5EM     Marie Schaer, KDBUJT

  Sixteen (16) examination elements were administered in two
  (2) examination sessions during the morning to fourteen (14)
  applicants. Eight new Technician class licenses, one
  grandfathered and three upgrades to General class licenses,
  and two (2) upgrades to Amateur Extra class licenses were
  attained, with the total number of elements passed being 14.
  The overall "pass rate" for the morning was 87.5%.
