BVARC Monday Night Net ( 146.94) 27 total checkins.
I asked the question last evening: "What do you want to know in Ham Radio that you do not know now?" The responses from those that hung around are below. Note: most stations did not stay for the duration - they checked in and boogied due to - the bad topic, dinner was served, nagging XYL... Topics suggested / answers needed: Digital Modes ? ATV - How is it transmitted? How to tie logging programs to the radio for automatic input of frequency, etc.? How antennas work? HF Tuner Construction techniques? Using Logging programs - setup etc.? Data interfacning like the CAT system. How does it work? Is there an easier way to learn the test material beside memorization? What is "traffic" on a net? How do you tune a tube type amp? How do you use EZNEC to design antennas? Why is there not a class to study for the Extra license? Why do DX'ers QRM the DX station? How do you waterproof all of your outside connections, external tuners, etc.? Excellent range of questions and answers needed by BVARC members.
