The one change I made, was using all green PowerPole housings instead of different colors; cable identifying tags were used to distinguish between the six lengths. I keep a small laminated card with the Z-817; one side has the counterpoise segments by band, and the other side has the approximate whip length, and coil tap positions for the 1899T. The counterpoise segments work well in other settings too, as I have used it with an end-fed long wire. Good luck, Chris, AC4MP --------------------- No trees were harmed in the production of this message, however, a great many electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
