I've seen a lot of the cheap wire that has a thick outer jacket that
would give the impression that it is (x) gauge wire, but the actual wire
inside is smaller than the gauge it is supposed to be.
You might try Eddie over at River Oaks Car Stereo or look at the stuff
West Mountain Radio sells

Larry,
I did find some listings on Amazon, and since I have Prime, it's a
good candidate, but a lot of them say "NOT Automotive 10ga wire" and I
was trying to figure out what the heck that meant.
I've been to Home Depot and Lowe's locations locally, and they don't
carry 10ga zip cord.
Thanks for your reply.

Hello all,
Does anyone know of a reasonably priced local source for 10ga
Zip Cord (Red and Black insulation)?
