We are down to the wire… Saturday, August 26th at the Wharton Intergalactic Spaceport! Thanks to Wharton and David Allen for so many years of support… Launch at 10 AM! We have a BLT-49 construction meeting on Wednesday evening (8/16/17) at the Secret BLT Lab in Sugar Land. WA5TWT QTH 310 Lombardy 8 PM Talk in on 146.70 Repeater (103.5 Hz tone) What is ready to fly? It’s time to put it all together! Helium, Batteries, Payloads, Parachute, Predictions… Let’s Go! Also: As we approach the flight of BLT-49, we need a volunteer to handle communications with the FAA. This used to be a rather difficult job, but it is now MUCH easier. Kirk Kendrick KK2Z has done this for many flights now and has compiled an info doc file. If you would like to see the file, let me know and I will forward it to you. If you like what you see, volunteer and become the BLT FAA Wizard for BLT-49! If you find that you like the job, Kirk will transfer it to you, otherwise, he will resume after his vacation.
