Just joined BVARC Live in Pearland-Brazoria County Passed tech class exam 6/15/19 Waiting on FCC database notice. Totally green. Bought yaesu FT-8900R quad band ( 10, 6, 2 meter, and 70cm ) for Jeep, and matched Diamond CR8900A antenna. Was told it is ok to listen in as long as I don’t PTT ( transmit)...? Is there a good channel I could listen to some of the activity? I need to start learning proper on-air procedure... and get familiar with Club practices.
