A quick read about the Hermes lite shows that it is an experiment in developing SDR. Development is part of our mandate as Hams. So, maybe there is or maybe there isn’t a ready path to high power TRX. I tend to believe there is. Anyways, kudos on your evident willingness to experiment. This much is clear in your willingness to use an experimental rig and your emphasis where it matters, the antenna, rather than on brute force.
