ECHO: Emergency Communications Ham Operator
They did have a web page, don't know if it is still up, but try this:
<www.ECHO.ORG>
They used to meet at the Houston Red Cross until a year or so ago, IIRC
the Red Cross had need to use the meeting space for internal use,
perhaps Marty can fill in if I am incorrect.
Meetings have been rotated among several locations, including meeting
with other clubs.
Just today I read that meetings will be at "The Tracy Gee Recreation
Center" in the Westchase area.

If anyone could give me a lift from: Deer Park, I would be glad to
contribute to gas at least one way. ;-)

As someone who's only recently getting back into the hobby, I would

Website?
What does ECHO stand for?
What is the mission of the ECHO society?
How is it different from BVARC? What sets it apart?
Additional questions: What's NARS?
Thanks,

I just did a presentation on call signs, primarily focused on the
vanity system at the last KARS meeting. Everyone said it was good
information. I’d be happy to do it at ECHO or BVARC

at Tracy Gee Community Center. Also, I am in need of presentations
for the ECHO meetings, so if you have one you'd like to share just
let me know. Likewise, I can share presentation ideas from ECHO
with BVARC and NARS. Marty Blaise, AG5T
