You have the batteries and you want to acquire the rest of what makes a
battery backup a battery backup.
It's called an "inverter charger"

I am still working and do not have the soldering skills to make my
own, so I would like to purchase something turnkey that is less than
comparatively sized APC system.
Any suggestions?
