Unfortunately, most people have trouble with their local wifi speed rather than the speed of their provider. We see this all the time. Here are some fast free fixes:
1. Move your laptop /pc closer to your wifi access point 2. Run an Ethernet cable directly from your cable modem to your pc/laptop. 3. Be sure no one is streaming video or watching youtube in the house. Hope that helps.
