Why are we so concerned about the reported lack of security using Zoom?
We are not sharing any sensitive information.
The USAF/CAP has been using Zoom for teleconferencing for the past several
months with no security issues found by USAF office of
cyber security.CAP's Narional Conference will be conducted with Zoom.

Several entities are hosting hamfests (via webinars) with ZOOM. DX
Engineering and QSO Today are examples that are coming up shortly.
I'll be touting the GQRP international hamfest, coming up in Sept., which is
also using zoom.
It's interesting that in this crazy time, some ham clubs, or entities, are
gaining more notoriety with these webinar offerings.

In my experience with both Zoom and Skype (more than 10 uses in each). Zoom is
VASTLY SUPERIOR to Skype.

I AVOID ZOOM altogether, GOOGLE prohibits their EMPLOYEES from using it for
GOOGLE BUSINESS conferences due to past security issues, don't know how it
works on Windows 10, but won't run on my Samsung Galaxy phone due to
insufficient memory.
Don't see why others use it, MSNBC uses SKYPE for their LIVE INTERVIEWS & if
audio problems arise, switch to phone backups.
