Help.:    During the Hurricane that was supposed to hit Houston with 60 to 80
MPH winds I decided to lower my Beam, which I did. Unfortunately I forgot that
I had done so when I got up around midnight and was getting ready to work some
FT8. I spotted a station I needed and swung the beam. The beam locked up and I
can not get it away from the locked bearing although it is still at the same
position. I because of that I was able to raise the Beam to the top of the
tower. I was able to move the beam to 325 deg. It locked up there again.  I
have reset the defaults which changed the bearing to 297 deg but does not move
the beam.  The beam still will not move.  Believe the brake is locked. I can
not lower it it as it needs a bearing of 151 deg to clear the tower. Any and
all help would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions on what is broke would
help. The DCU 3 tries to move the beam but nothing happens. Any and all help is
appreciated.   By the way I am recuperating from a broken toe so can not be of
much physical help.  Gerald Muller K9GEMUSN DSC (SW) Retired [email protected]
