I just thought it was a bit strange to show full output on 30 at a US based hamfest. Yes, other regions are allowed more on 30. And, yes, sinking full power into a DL is quite legal. Acknowledge being called out. I would have voiced a disclaimer but thats me. Heck I can easily set and lock each band on my K3 to whatever min drive power I need on 30 to get 200 out of the amp and full out on all other bands. Finally, it was a world event so the demo was valid to show other regions they are not limited to 200, as it is being sold by a US company and they might think so. Sort of like the 5 KW and 10KW amps with big mama Russian tubes I saw on display from some eastern European companies at Dayton about 25 years ago. Why at Dayton? Reasons above apply.
