I was told there would be no math on this reflector, but 30db is 1000
times, so 1.5 MW That would take one heck of a dummy load. Not that I
imagine that I've seen everything, but the biggest dummy load I've ever
seen was able to handle 40 kW of 100 MHz signal for brief periods with
the coolant circulating.
I think someone's mistaken though. Hams don't have radiated power
limits above 1.5 MHz.

well if the leakage from a dummy load is 30 db down how much power
would you need to be 30 db above 1500 watt?

Does the the permitted radiated power limit for hams apply to
dummy loads?

Hamfest is pretty good so far. I did notice on the Expert
Amplifier video that they demo'd the 1.5K amp into a dummy
load, of course, and they got 1500 watts out on 30 meters (10
MHz).
1500 on 30 ???? Not sure they knew what they were doing.
