Marty, The e-bay ad says "tuner Jack" ...meaning the back of the 450. It simply ties into the TX GND pin and Ground signals. Provides this on the RCA plug......providing a grounded line to the amp when you are transmitting. This signal appears on both the Tuner jack AND the Linear jack on the 450. This info is on pages 8 and 13 of your 450 operators manual.
Older amps (i.e. sb-200 or 220 that have not been converted) might use a 12o volt voltage and this line would not be compatible. Most modern amps use 12 volt level grounding to switch to xmit.
