I run one 3 foot USB A to B cable to my IC-7100 for both rig control and digital modes. I run HRD for rig control, and the associated DM760 for HF Digi, and WSJT-X for the weak signal digi. I am in the process of setting up a PTC IIIusb modem, which will run a second USB to Accessory cable (I hope that and the Airmail program is all I need to get on the DTN backbone).
