To all, I just got my technician license and have been playing around with my simple Baofeng radio. I set the frequencies, but the difference between my upper and lower frequencies change after inputing the tone. I'm unable to hear anything and I'm just trying to figure out if I've set it up wrong or my antenna isn't strong enough to reach a repeater. Looking for an ELMER.
