You must be intimate with your radio and its manual. After you read it, read it again.

I suggest you buy a good programming cable and use Chirp to program your radio. Once you use it you will see why. youtube has videos if you need some help with it.

If you use Chirp and it works for you, make a donation. They work hard to keep it up to date with a lot of different radios.
