Buy one that is made for amateur radio. Astron are good units, but they can be had from MFJ, Samlex, etc. Just make sure it's "rated" for your use. Some manufacturers rate them by peak output, and others use continuous output. (Peak will be higher than continuous). R&L tends to run specials on them.
