Hello Ben,
I have been attempting to make contact with the ISS for a few months now off
and on.I have been utilizing the 2 m frequencies Uplink (Tx)               :
144.490 MHz
                                                                 Downlink
(Receive):  145.800  MHz
How did you account for the Doppler effect for changing frequencies for the
orbit pass?
I have been attempting to contact with 25 watts on a J-pole antenna, and I
monitor the orbits on ISSfanclub.com
Please let me know what frequencies you guys have been utilizing, radio
equipment, and orbit websites so that I may have the same great results with
contact that you guys did.
Thx for your assistance.

Subject: [BVARC] ISS Crew Active!

Just had to share this with you guys! Still bouncing around the house like a
kid on Christmas eve! My son Kyle, KG5YPD and I were both able to make contact
with the crew of the ISS yesterday afternoon with astronaut Dr. Lindgren,
KO5MOS operating as NA1SS. My buddy Stephen, N8URE got a good recording from
his place in MD. I'm at about the 3:45 mark and my son is about a minute later
at the 4:45 mark. SOOOO FREAKING AWESOME!

@Henry and @Char if you're able to try and follow the next few passes, you
might get lucky too! This is a first for me in 27 years as a ham, for some of
the other guys, much longer!
