As mentioned, when I added SWR DaiwaCN-901 pro, my maximum output power was only 80 w on RTTY. After some research, and as JP said, it is a common issue with Icom 7300. I found the video: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=icom+7300+power+MOD&view=detail&mid=94DB9F3757B47378E5E094DB9F3757B47378E5E0&FORM=VIRE
I also contacted ICOM America, and they shared with me that fine to proceed. So now I'm getting my full power. I believe these instruments are the standard setters for ham radio power readings. I have an LP-100a and it has performed flawlessly for several years. http://www.telepostinc.com/ JP, K5JPP > On 01/30/2023 6:20 AM Rod Lewis via BVARC <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Philippe, > > Just a suggestion, but I bought a Surecomm SW-102HF digital from Amazon for > $69 that does wattage &SWR in a compact package.
