Ha me too mike. He marc, can you supply a back of the napkin drawing to show us 
what this looks like? Im having trouble picturing it.. since I suddenly don't 
think the sticks are end to end.

so i made a homebrew antenna, it has a 17ft telescoping vertical with 4 20m 
hamsticks at 135 degrees down. I ran it up a mast about 20ft off the ground and 
it seems to work relatively well compared to the 10 or so other homebrew 
antennas that I have hoisted. not sure what this configuration is called so 
when asked I just say homebrew vertical.  does it have a name?
