Suburbans have transmissions that seldom last more than 100K miles. I have 2020 LT Suburban and lost my trans at 90K. The repair shop had four suburbans in the parking lot with blown transmissions and each had less than 100K miles. I love suburbans, however their engineers have obviously designed them to be replaced at or about 100K miles. Over the last twenty years I have had to rebuild four suburban transmissions. I hope the gentleman finds a good mechanic. I would recommend Adam at Highway 6 Transmission.

Some of you may have noticed that Jim Lea did not appear for the Greater
Houston Hamfest this year. Well here is a YouTube video he posted
explaining his roadblock and why he was not able to attend.
