Study waaaay back in’75 for Novice but that code and life got in the way. My son got me interested in GRMS but found it limited and did a dive back in to Amature radio. So at 69, I have a “new” hobby. Joined BVARC as I have known about that club for years and even attended a hamfest in the abt 2010 in Rosenberg . I have Been monitoring the repeaters and getting on VHF/UHF. Mostly on a couple of HT’s. Waiting on a mobile radio to be delivered and setup in my truck. I did pick up a zBitx QRP radio at the CRHRC event, so just starting to listen and learn about HF and FT8. Looking forward to getting on HF more. Saving up for a 100W radio early next year.
