I still have the 2m rptr btw... I used the xmtr as the shuttle retransmit on 
147.56 in the Conroe area during the 80s-90s from the GSU Willis microwave 
tower..

NWS BPT and handed it to Ray Broussard, the NWS Chief at the time...He was 
thrilled!!Louis WB5BMB told me later I was mentioned in the official TDEM 
report on the storm...Hell, I was just there to help.....

Daisetta (one s thank you), home of a major VOR station, actually its north of 
town and had the N5DNG 145.27/224.82 rptrs (that I help built and maintain) 
there covering I10 / US90 in the 80s, is NE of Missouri  City.....Winnie is 
EAST,and Wallis??? I think they meant Willis  (Whachoo talkin about???  😆 IYKYK 
)
As for the TXVHFFM Society, I wouldn't let them coordinate my dog's potty in 
the yard...and I'm a life member as well as twice BOD member...
