I run my 7300 off batteries most of the time, and I've noticed that the radio 
will reboot if it tries to draw more power than the battery can supply (this 
only happens when the battery needs to be charged).  I'd also suggest trying to 
run at lower power and see if the problem goes away.  If it does, it may just 
indicate that you need a beefier power supply to run at higher power...

It's a guess, but hope you find it helpful.

Hi Mark,
You most likely have already done this but just in case not; reset the radio to 
factory default, load a good config file from past/reconfigure settings 
manually and see if that make any good.
