As Chris wrote you can start by trying some chokes if your audio cables are
not shielded well. But I'd first try to check power source. If you're using
a loptop, try to check if you still have the AC hum when your computer is
not plugged (running on batteries). If that solves the problem, check if
your grounding is OK (clean and low resistance) and reaching to the AC
adapter. If you're using a desktop, I'd still start checking if grounding
is OK. However, it is very likely that your sound card is just not able to
filter that AC hum and if that's the case you'd need to isolate it
yourself. Amazon has products for that. Just search for ground loop
isolator. You don't need an expensive one, a $20 one does as good a job as
$100 one if you're just using it for HAM.
