The Richardson Wireless Klub in the Dallas area will be doing a balloon launch
this afternoon at 2:00 p.m.  On board there will be a cross band repeater
utilizing 147.435 up with a PL of 67 Hertz and a downlink of 446.0. I wish they
would use 147.42 or 147.44 as Texas is 20kHz on 2m.
It should have excellent coverage from Corpus Christi to deep into Oklahoma
when it reaches maximum height.
For those operating field day, this cannot be counted as a contact on the field
day log since it is a cross band repeater, which are prohibited by the rules,
and not a satellite.
