the thing was somewhat an alligator...heard the 446 downlink full quieting but 
barely made into the receiver running 50watts on 2m.....I think a station in 
Kansas accessed it.Next time they need better frequencies.. 147.435 is not 
correct for Texas...and 446.00 is the National simplex frequency on 
440...imagine doing that on 146.52!
Not sure how high it got...some locals in DFW started chatting thru it and I 
went back to 40m FD operation
