Great! Can we make it our top priority this weekend to focus on the
graduate machines? There are 7-8 (depending on if we find them all,
kind of like an easter egg hunt?) built, some needing modems, one or
two needing sound cards. One needs a PCI sound card, as both ISA
ports in that machine are bust, and we don't have any in the shop, so
if somebody has a spare lying around, that would be great, and if not,
then we pull out the hard drive and put it in another machine.

I will be teaching the Impress presentation software class this
Saturday, so I'm going to be relying on you other volunteers to
continue building the graduate machines.

I would like it if we can get all 10 of them ready to go by next
weekend; that gives us one final week to set them up for the
individual students, configure dialup access, etc.

And how about another carrot ... if we get these machines ready to go
BEFORE the deadline, then I'll throw another volunteer barbecue --
including vegetarian dishes. (For those of you just monitoring these
posts, "volunteer barbecue" means barbecuing food for the volunteers,
rather than cooking the actual volunteers.) Mmmm, mmmm ... tastes
like chicken!
:-)
