In regard to responses to the postings that I have placed on VolunteerMatch,
if the prospective volunteer responds directly to VolunteerMatch, they send me
a notice and I follow up from there. If the responder wanders over to BWorks
web site and responds from there, as Mr. DeMarco did, I enter his basic
information into the Volunteer Roster as a "prospect" but wait to see if anyone
else responds. In this case, he was contacted by Ken.
I noted the form that Sean posted recently and will incorporate it into my
follow up process. I will then pass the form to Ken who will follow up with the
arrangements for a back ground check.
We still need to work out the process from that point forward and also who
responds and how to inquiries that do not come from VolunteerMatch.
