Normally the ssh server isn't installed by default.  Is the ssh
server running by default on our student images?  I'm guessing it
is since there are config files in /etc.  Do we need it installed
on their machines though?

They said in one of the emails that they were using AT&T.  I
haven't studied the issue we've been having with AT&T DSL, but
weren't there issues with this and couldn't this simply be the
problem they're having?
