Voxitas has an immediate opening for an Asterisk Support Specialist to
service our client base as we continue to make waves in the SIP Trunking
business.

The primary responsibility of any member of our operations team is to
raise customer satisfaction. It is our responsibility to provide stellar
service and delight our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work calmly in a fast paced environment
- Maintain exceptional phone etiquette
- Troubleshoot customer facing issues, including VoIP phone systems,
call setup, call quality and call routing issues, configuration of
customer VoIP systems, network related problems, and others.
- Assist tier 1 technical support team to resolve VoIP and network
issues as well as interface with higher level technical groups/Engineers
via ticketing system.

Qualifications:

- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Asterisk PBX systems
including basic Linux commands.
- Ability to use diagnostic/troubleshooting tools such as packet capture
tools to identify and correct LAN and WAN related issues
- Desire and ability to create and refine procedures and processes.
- Proficiency with Visio (or other tool) to document and diagram every
aspect of an environment.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively as a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively to all levels of
the corporation.
