I have some code that doesn't work now because of a Xerces bug that has supposedly been fixed in CVS. I'm going to investigate. In any case, I would definitely be interested in seeing a 2.7 release if it meant I didn't have to go digging around CVS for patches to miscellaneous bugs. :-) If a 2.7 release were made, I would package it for Debian as well, probably replacing 2.6 with it.
