Hey,
The release features were discussed on a mail a while back.
Whats the status if the items on it?
Hi Gareth,
the status didn't change much on my side (well, it got worse because
Axel doesn't have the time to implement the DOMTypeInfo::isDerivedFrom API).
So, assuming that isDerivedFrom can just throw an exception for the
time being, the two things that must be done before a 3.0 release
ships are two:
- documentation for the new DOM L3 API
- decide if LSInput/LSOutput must become the only way to interact
with LSParser/LSSerializer, or if the current hybrid solution is
acceptable (Wrapper4InputSource around an InputSource) -> delaying
this after 3.0 could mean waiting for 4.0, but the only Ronald
Lamprecht expressed his opinion.
I think the Xerces-P integration is completed; what about compilation
on the other Unix platforms (Solaris, OS/390, TRUE-64...)?
